Connected Cameundey day!

Yesterday i was doing Connected Day! we had Lot's of fun there and i will tell you...




Where?:    We went to the OGC'S sin ma to see what we were going to do we were going to do Survive in the Wiled  i was doing drama.

What?:  When we were done then we went to our places i went to LH1 when we went inside then we all saw the kids and learning coach's were fake dead so we had to think what we had to do first we had to look around if nothing happens to us then we had to say "can you hear me" that's what we needed to do.

who?: I went with Mr dyer , miss Morgan and miss baba we all went to LH1 and saw what happened.


How?: How did it happen well we all were saying that it must be a tornado but it's all fake.

Why?:  Why i went there because i thinked it was going to be fun lot's of fun.

In Today's problem solving lesson I:   I was doing a Problem solving witch had number's i was with my KAGEN group we had card's so we can solve the problem we even used a graph to help us.

When solving the problem i found: I found out that we could use the number's that are in the middle so we used the it and we got 3 right today.

One thing that i learnt today was: i learnt today was that we used little bit of minuses and time tables so that's how we worked it out

What: Today I was at the multi space why I was there because I was  looking at the 

road show people they did amazing experimenting they showed us there staff they did the elephant toothpaste he put something in side it then it did same so cool!

So what:  Now they let us show there experiment there was lots to do and they gave us 

a challenge to do.  First I went to this ride I told Charlotte to came with me it was a 2 

person ride when we went on the ride it was so much fun we went round and round 

then it stop't so we had to go now  and look at the other staff they did for us to see.

Now what:  Now we where going sit on the floor the man was going to tell a women to put 

her hand in and chose who is going to be the winier it was...... Sameeha and Amlock they 

got this cool spinning thing that could go so high up then we where back at our class 

iExplore Presentation TITANIC!

                     

"Yesterday" we where listing to a titanic iExplore and it was very interesting we had 25 mint to do our own iExplore and the people who did the iexplore was Rudi, Manveer and Ouryu lot's of people at the titanic died i got very sad what happend to them. 

We looked at who was the Capetian and the Titanic was supper big  for lots and lots of people

Yesterday When i was doing my Amazing😄! ANZAC art  i was having fun lot's of fun! we got to chose our own army person i chose a nice one we had to sick it on a black card bored paper i  had a little bit of mistake's there but it still went well i was very happy with my own art work nut there's still more a anther one of my art...  

I was doing my Amazing butterfly art! i had lot's and lot's of fun we had good materials to use we had pompoms and other staff we could use then i was done i got a pitcher

Narrative Assessment - Maths Problem Solving & Kagan Groups

Learning Observed

This is a narrative assessment of collaborative learning during a maths problem solving session.  We introduced the learners of LH6 to Kagan Structures and explained how we had grouped the learners into four different colour groups.  We then invited the learners to find other learners from each other the other colours.    Saniya connected with Gracy and Alysia to support each other through their discussions and sharing of ideas.    The following video was made from a range of photos and videos taken during this problem solving session to help illustrate the learning taking place.

Evidence of learning

Saniya used two shapes (circle and rectangle) which were divided into ten parts, then she shaded in nine parts on the circle and four on the rectangle.   Saniya was not too confident when it came to explaining why she shaded these parts and which fractions could be used to make the sum of 9/10.   Her next steps would be to develop her understanding of equivalent fractions so that she would be capable of using a variety of fractions, e.g. halves, quarters and fifths to answer this type of problem.
